In Acts 21:1-22:21, Paul faces opposition and ultimately arrest in his journey to Jerusalem. When he arrives in Jerusalem, he is falsely accused of teaching Jews to forsake Moses and is arrested after obeying James's instruction to enter the temple. In his subsequent testimony, Paul emphasizes his Jewish background and his encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, but his mention of preaching to the Gentiles incites anger in the crowd.
