Ah, the good life. We've been talking about it for centuries, but we're still not any closer to having one definitive authoritative answer to what it is. I'm not saying this podcast will offer that, but with Beyond the Forum, I'm committed to take you on a journey to explore that question for modern times, especially after a year when finding the good life seemed more elusive than ever.

You have given him a better perception and that he changes his own reality. That's how we, uh, affect change, not by attacking somebody's belief system, but offering them a better perspective. I'm Bethany Jenkins and I am your host for Beyond the Forum, a new podcast from PRX and the Veritas Forum, a Christian nonprofit that has been asking big questions for almost 30 years.

Join me for our first season where we'll talk about the good life and how to live it. I'll be interviewing some of my favorite scholars about the things that make up a good life, like forgiveness and wonder, and also we'll be talking about stuff that threatens the good life, like death and shame. We're all in this trajectory for dying.

Death is 100%. That has not changed. So then the question becomes, how do we live well in order to die well? Our first episode drops on Thursday, June 10, and every Thursday for six weeks.
